There are a lot of sexy women in the world, but only one can be the sexiest in the eyes of a British men’s magazine. And that sexy, lucky woman this year is Michelle Keegan

Keegan is the 27-year-old veteran of the British soap “Coronation Street.” The magazine FHM (slogan: “It’s great to be a man”) crowed her triumph — a victory for democracy, as this was a readers poll — to the skies.

“She’s Britain’s fittest, funniest, most mind-bendingly phenomenal TV star, and she’s been a firm fixture in the list for a long time now,” the magazine wrote. “But just in case you’ve been living under a very unsexy rock for the past few years, we’re here to remind you how Michelle Keegan came to be the world’s favourite lady.”

Those stateside living under that “unsexy rock” and unfamiliar with Keegan’s résumé still had to respect her game. After all, this woman triumphed over all other living women, including Jennifer Lawrence, Nicki Minaj, Hillary Rodham Clinton and Ruth Bader Ginsburg — not to mention every daughter, wife and human who identifies as female
