Saraki defies APC ,names Ali Ndume Senate Leader

Despite directives from APC's party leadership that Ahmed Lawan be elected Majority leader of the senate in compensation for losing out as the Senate President, the Senators has disregarded the directive and have officially nominated Mr. Ndume, from Borno State, as Majority Leader, Bala Ibn Na’alla as deputy leader.
The Senate also nominated Francis Alimikhena, from Edo State, as Deputy Chief Whip.
The nominations are subject to approval..
