Girl Pours Acid On Her Boyfriend Because He Refused To Marry Her

Police are looking to arrest a girl on charges of assault after allegedly pouring acid on her boyfriend because he refused to marry her, police in India said.

Ballia Police said that a 20-year-old man suffered serious injuries after his 17-year-old girlfriend threw acid in his face on Friday.

According to the police investigation, Rajkumar Pal had been in a relationship with the girl who was pressuring him to marry her.

After being rejected by Pal, she threw acid on him. Pal went to a nearby health clinic for treatment. He was then sent a hospital in Varanasi for further treatment.

Pal filed a complaint against his girlfriend with the police. Police are looking to arrest the girl, but so far, she managed to evade law enforcement.
