The death of veteran actor of the Village Headmaster fame, Femi Robinson has been announced.
He was believed to have succumbed to old age related disease at the ripe age of 75.
A brief statement released on his facebook page and
signed by his sons, Seun and Wole Robinson said he died this morning.
Despite studying Botany at the then University of Ife (now Obafemi
Awolowo University) in the 60s, his incursion into acting started with
the role of Odewale in Ola Rotimi’s The gods are not to blame.
He would be fondly remembered for his role as the headmaster in the
series, Village Headmaster on Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
