A groom was led away from his wedding hall in handcuffs after he failed to pay two outstanding traffic tickets, police in Pennsylvania said.
Weatherly Police said that the newly married bride was forced to retrieve her husband from jail after he was arrested on Saturday, while exchanging vows with his bride.
42-year-old Todd Sadefar was wanted for two outstanding traffic tickets. The police received a tip that Sadefar was set to get married at the Salem UCC Church.
The officers made the arrest shortly after Sadefar said “I do.”
The groom was not allowed to stay for his wedding reception, and his wife had to go to the Carbon County Prison to retrieve his rented tuxedo.
