|
Olabisi and Tobi had their wedding introduction a fortnight ago and they are so excited - who in their shoes, wouldn't...after having come a long way since 2011...whoosh!
Now let us tell you how these lovebirds met, got engaged and yea, how they plan to spend their forever.
Their love story:
Bisi and Tobi aka Tobisi met through a friend in 2011.
According to the soon-to-be-bride, Olabisi, this mutual friend of theirs
did the magic and connected them by giving them both the other's
contact.
"She gave me
his contact and gave him my contact and that's how we clicked off. We
were always chatting via watsapp then and somehow feelings crept
in....even before we met in person..we became so into each other" Olabisi explained with Joy!
When they finally met in person, they were both swept away...they knew right there that they had found 'the one'.
As time flew by, their love blossomed, they would wine and dine together, support each other, share thoughts and what have you and Tobi soon realized he couldn't do without Olabisi (the one woman who makes him feel on top of the world!!!), so he decided to put a ring on it and did he it in the most unexpected way.
Their Proposal story:
Tobi popped the BIG question on the eve of Olabisi's elder sister's wedding.
Bisi, the bridesmaid-to-be
for her elder sister, Aramide, who was getting married the next day, was trying to set things up for the bridal shower she
had planned for her sister, when her friends, Moyosore, Aisha and Hannah (who had planned the surprise proposal with Tobi) persuaded her to let them go
to one of the eateries very close to the house.

After much persuasion she followed them to the canteen which was a stone throw from home...Tobi showed
up!
Of course, she was glad to see him, she felt he had showed up in advance for her
sister's wedding and didn't know what he had planned.
After greetings...laughs.....smiles...lovey dovey and PDAs, he anxiously
announced that he had something to say. He began to tell the world
(friends and family members around) of how much
Bisi meant to him and how he couldn't stand a minute without having her
around. And then he took off his shirt - underneath was a tee shirt
with a 'will you marry me' inscription.
Bisi was
stunned. She was yet to comprehend the drama that was playing out...it wasn't until he got down on not one but both knees, and
popped the question that she knew what's up.
Olabisi who felt on top of the world said Yes and accepted the ring.
Now we leave you to enjoy their wedding introduction photos...

Welcome home our daughter |
|
Lord, help us to remember when we first met and the strong love that grew between us.
To work that love into practical things so nothing can divide us.
We ask for words both kind and loving, and for hearts always ready to ask forgiveness as well as to forgive.
Dear Lord, we put our marriage into Your hands. |
|
Would
you take me as I am 'cause all I am I have shown thee. Let it be known,
I was born to make mistakes, not fake perfection.....
|
|
I love you just the way you are, you are my all in all |
|
I couldn't have asked for a better man |
|
I am my beloved's, and my beloved is mine. Verily I say unto thee; For at the touch of love, everyone becomes a poet....
