An onetime California school authority was sentenced Monday to 10 years in state jail for sexually attacking two girls when they were her students, including a lady who faced her in a recorded telephone call that became a web sensation on YouTube.

She kept away from a potential life sentence by confessing a month ago. Prosecutors dropped more than twelve different tallies.
Cardosa was accused of misusing a previous student at Chemawa Middle School in Riverside starting when the girl was 12. The misuse endured from 1997 to 2001, prosecutors said.
In court papers, prosecutors said Cardosa attacked the girl more than 100 times in a locker room and Cardosa’s auto, and at the home of Cardosa’s sister.
In a recording that was posted online in January 2014, the previous student telephoned Alhambra High School, where Cardosa was aide primary, and went up against her.
The now 29-year-old mother Jamie Carrillo said that she made the feature post as the statute of limits has
run out for her to have the capacity to indict and that she didn’t need Cardosa around other kids.
In the call, she tells the lady, who distinguishes herself as Ms Cardosa, that she did something frightfully wrong at Chemawa Middle School in Riverside 15 years back.
Ms Carrillo then asks what the lady would do if a student advised her that she was having a sexual association with a teacher to which she answers that she would include law authorization.
‘You ought to be so embarrassed along these lines appalled with yourself,’ the guest said.
‘I am. I am,’ Cardosa said. ‘I think twice about it consistently. Consistently.’
Cardosa later surrendered.
