constraints in Nigeria and across the globe. By many measures, Nigerian
women are surpassing men in the zeal and tenacity with which they pursue
their dreams. Global data suggest women are leaving the workforce in
droves in favor of being at home. This time, not to be a homemaker or a
housewife, but as job-making entrepreneurs. Osaseye is providing this
data from 2013 (chart above by prepaideconomy)
Current data shows that African women are leading the pack in owning and
running their own business. Nigeria ranks top of the continent with
Zambia, Ghana, Malawi and Uganda in the top five charts.
Angola, Botswana, USA, UK, Norway and France completes the list of top ten countries where women dominate as entrepreneurs.
