Robbers Rob Two Major Banks In Ikorodu, Engage Police In Gun Battle

About an hour ago two major banks in Ebute Ikorodu, Lagos State, were robbed by robbers who came in their numbers and fully armed. According to eye witnesses, one of the banks is not far to a police station and the police engaged them in a gun battle. Details are still very sketchy, but the police have also confirmed it on Twitter asking citizens to stay off the environment. According to twitter users around Ikorodu, the robbers have escaped through the lagoon. We are not sure if the Police managed to gun any of them down. More details shortly.
