Late Senator Uche Chukwumereije to be Buried May 22

Late Senator Uche Chukwumereije will be given a heroic burial on May 22 in his country home Ngodo Isuoche, in Abia State. The burial date was contained in a letter from the family of the late Senator Chukwumereije which was read on the floor of the senate during the plenary. 

The Senate President David Mark described late Senator Chukwumerije as national hero who was a pan- Nigerian in all ramifications. And told the bereaved family at Senator Chukwumerije’s house in Abuja that the late Senator was a nationalist and an unrepentant crusader for the respect of human rights and rule of law. 

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
