4 Killed, 89 arrested in Kebbi, After Irate Villagers Attacked Police For Saving A Foreign National Suspected Of Being A Ritualist

No fewer than 4 persons lost their lives toady in Kamba, Kebbi State at about 12noon.

The Incident erupted when a group of villagers in Kamba, Kebbi State  when police rescued a foreign national suspected to being a ritualist.Contin.....


The irate villagers were about to lynch a republic, named Adamu Gaya on suspicion involvement in an alleged ritual murder of a young girl.

After police rescued the foreign national, the irate villagers attacked the police station and destroyed the communication base.

The irate mob also burnt (2) police vehicle,nine (9) motorcycle and also smashed the windscreen of four (4) cars parked at the premisses.

The irate villagers also burnt the official residence of Divisional Police Officer.
